  • Razoo Foundation Announces New Rate, 4.9%, for Online Donations

    The Razoo Foundation, an independent charity that contracts with Razoo to receive and receipt advised gifts to its donor advised fund, is raising the transaction rate from the current 2.9% rate to 4.9% effective April 1, 2013.

    This change covers the increased cost of keeping the Razoo platform state-of-the art and providing it with the funds to develop additional functionality and services.

    Even with this increase, Razoo still offers one of the lowest transaction rates in the online fundraising industry.

    More than $137 million has been raised through the Razoo platform, benefiting more than 17,000 non-profits across the country. We look forward to continuing with this good work, with the aid of an even more robust giving platform.

More Giving Days in 2013

2013 is shaping up to be an exciting year for giving days! So far, we are looking to partner with several organizations to put on ten giving days slated for March, April and May. Stay tuned!

Featured Resource: Case Foundation Report

Razoo Foundation is excited to announce the release of a report in conjunction with the Case Foundation. The report analyzes a new trend in charitable giving — 24 hour regional, nonprofit fundraising competitions, or “Giving Days.” Specifically, the report examines the success of Give to the Max Day: Greater Washington, as well as how it compares to similar events around the country.
